Webb27 dec. 2009 · It didn't fall all the way out. I had this problem on the other ThinkPad, and on that I simply plugged it back in and it worked absoloutely fine, but on my R40 this was different. Plugged the charger back in and nothing, not even the battery charging icon. It won't power up at all... IF your using a Windows machine to download the .iso and you want to create a bootable usb you would use Rufus. Hello and welcome to LQ. I'd be a bit suprised if you can use a usb to boot.
