Some 50000 miles ago, my drain valve began leaking after rotating it to drain. Lower o-ring was deteriorated badly, got repair kit from Ford ($55) consisting of outer plate, valve and 2 o-rings. Lower o-ring seat was corroded, but put new one in and put on the new valve and outer plate.

Mine always drained by dripping slowly maybe 6 drips ever 30-45 sec. along with others, then others say theirs streams out and doesnt stop till they turn it off, etc.

I bet your sensor is gunked up. drain your water separator and just pull out the sensor after u unplug it.
